A message for our readers

Bill and I have been here at Ringside for a year-and-a-half.  We are pleased by the number of subscribers to our Substack and not displeased by the number of subscribers who pay us.

We're grateful to all of our subscribers. However, we would like to pick up more paying customers.  Therefore, we ask that, if you like our work, you consider taking out a paid subscription.  The cost is $6 per month or $60 for a full year.

What are the benefits?  One is that you will be able to read all of our posts.  However, Bill makes all of his content available to everyone.  I make the vast majority of mine available to everyone and will continue to do so.  As you can see, we aren't in this for the money.

We do, though, limit commenting rights on the majority of our posts to paid subscribers.  So by paying for a subscription, you will be able to comment on as much of what we write as you desire.

Finally, by taking out a paid subscription you will be able to show your appreciation for the content Bill and I have provided and will continue to provide.
