It seems that Yahya Sinwar, Hamas’ leader on the ground (or in a tunnel), wants a ceasefire deal. This, despite the group’s anger over the killing of it political leader, Ismail Haniyeh, in Tehran. To me, that’s clear evidence that Hamas as a fighting force is on its last legs and that Sinwar is running out of places to hide.
