Two good reasons why Israel should ignore U.S. demands on how to fight Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran
The Washington Post can’t seem to process the fact that Israel is fighting its enemies the way it thinks it needs to, not the way Joe Biden wants it to. Yesterday, the Post ran a three-page story that describes with obvious unhappiness Biden’s inability to impose his will on a nation fighting for its survival.
The lengthy subtitle of the article (paper edition) captures the Post’s frustration: “In Gaza fight, president stood by Israel but urged restraint. Netanyahu undercut him at every turn.”
Deep into the article the Post, without realizing it, provides the first reason why Israel wisely refuses to let Biden chart its war strategy and tactics.
