With apologies to St. Anselm: "Consider a COVID nursing home scandal a greater than which cannot be conceived -- unless a Republican were responsible, in which case it could not only be conceived but would be the centerpiece of a five-part, front page series in the NYT."

I'd vote for Adams in a New York minute. He is almost certainly stronger on criminals and illegal immigrants than Cuomo, and they both lack something on the integrity scale. If we were to weigh sin against sin, I think sending infected people into nursing homes is worse than any thing Adams did. Jim Dueholm

I dont think the mainstream media is going to be able to hide what Cuomo did just 5 years ago. We were all there and we all witnessed it. I also don't think the number one issue for New Yorkers is going to be who is the best resister of Trump. The problem is that Adams is a blowhard and rank incompetent but he is sane. Cuomo is a nasty piece of work who is loathed by everyone in the Democratic establishment who resigned the governorship in disgrace. The alternatives are Communists. So New York is in a fair bit of trouble unless somehow another Bloomberg can emerge to rescue the city from its Marxists once again.
