It is not just ineptitude that has been exposed. It is the strategic plan to take advantage of people’s desire to come to the U.S. and to undermine the American way of life. They abused immigrants and citizens. True evil.

the Democrats and their MSM megaphones are outraged that Trump et al. have exposed the fact that the Democrat base has shriveled to now consisting entirely of elitist virtue-signalers and drug-addled college kids.

Just so. Nothing to add to this.

Trump has not only exposed democrat ineptitude and their disingenuous slogan campaigns, he has developed a knack for baiting democrats into exposing themselves by taking highly unpopular leftist positions on issues large and small. This includes immigration (and labor), gender theory and racialism.

Even something like the white Afrikaans asylum applicants... Trump puts it out there like chum, knowing democrats will attack like a shark in frenzy, and in their frenzy, leftists reveal racist attitudes and make excuses for a despotic, racist, communist South African politician.

Rinse and repeat.

It's easy because he knows they will oppose anything he does as if it's an atrocity, and he's an expert troll (a component of demotic speech). If Trump declared that chocolate is great, there would be wash of science pieces in the MSM about the connection between chocolate and obesity and diabetes type 2, stories some nefarious connection between Trump and the chocolate industry, and mostly peaceful protests at the Hershey Factory. "Hey hey, ho ho, Hershey Chocolate's got to go!"

Through it all, those who are not involved in the democrat party see a party bereft of ideas and reflexively hostile to anything traditionally American.

The word reflexive is important: the left's playbook of grassroots political organizing didn't work in the last election (pick your reason), but one reason is because republicans organized, registered voters and chased their ballots better where it mattered.

So the left, I think, is shocked – they got beat at their own game, and are realizing why: their ideas (not just their messaging!) alienated key elements of their coalition. Who's left to organize?

So they turn reflexively to another long-held tactic: rioting and guerrilla theater to stir the masses and divide the population. It's all they know how to do. They are literally straitjacketed by their own ideas.

A person in a straitjacket may struggle for hours against it, but eventually succumb to exhaustion. The left struggles too, then starts banging its head against the wall.
