We’ve all heard of the heartless Israeli air raids on the Palestinians. These have caused unspeakable suffering with no end in sight.
Yesterday, Paul wrote a wonderfully analytical, thoughtful and important post on a different subject. I’m no match for that, so today I can only bring you a 25-second video, courtesy of Facebook, that depicts the real story in Palestine.
The Israelis have been barbaric enough to kill children and teenagers, and then, unbelievably, even to bomb their funerals. The Gaza Health Ministry has been yeomanlike in taping such episodes and delivering the footage to be shown on American outlets like MSNBC and CNN. The film below depicts the beginning of a Palestinian funeral procession for a young man, then shows what happens when the air raid siren goes off.

The Washington Post needs to change its standard verbiage in reports of death counts in Gaza. Now, the Post gives the alleged number and says "according to the Gaza Health Ministry which does not distinguish between combatants and civilians but says the majority of the dead are women and children."
The Post should say, "according to Hamas which doesn't distinguish between dead people and people who pretend to be dead."
And the media plays right along with the blood libel.
