The Washington Post needs to change its standard verbiage in reports of death counts in Gaza. Now, the Post gives the alleged number and says "according to the Gaza Health Ministry which does not distinguish between combatants and civilians but says the majority of the dead are women and children."

The Post should say, "according to Hamas which doesn't distinguish between dead people and people who pretend to be dead."

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YsRDgymJQAQ

May 20, 2025

A video of anti-Hamas demonstrations in Khan Yunis, Gaza Strip, was uploaded to Hamza Al-Masri’s Telegram channel on May 17, 2025. In the footage, protesters can be heard chanting against both Hamas and Qatari envoy Mohammed Al-Emadi. The crowd shouted: “Al-Emadi, be patient! The people of Gaza are digging your grave!” and demanded: “Stop the war! Stop the displacement!” and “Out with Hamas!”
