The key is to take BHM back from the radicals and make it about pride not victimization. The contributions to this country, its history and its culture by black Americans is vast. Heck you could do a whole month just studying black contributions to American music.

At least your daughter’s teacher knew of Alan Keyes, or maybe the speech played in class was her introduction. When my son was in 6th grade, the class was assigned to do a report on any candidate running to be their party’s presidential nominee. My son wrote his report on Keyes. The teacher deducted points because she claimed Keyes was not a candidate.
