Harvard is so dug in and so anti-white that I think any really effective remedy will involve the Court's appointing a Special Master to have day-to-day oversight of the admissions process, with the power to discipline, up to discharge, any employee in the admissions office, including the Dean, who is not making a 100%, good faith effort to implement the Court's decision in letter and spirit.
Wonderful statistical insights. The rot and bias is even more extreme than I suspected and I am pretty close to people who are knowledgeable on the topic. Of course, the Harvard self perpetuating governance structure makes it even more insulated than most institutions from the usual reality checks. Their perhaps insurmountable problem inthe short term is the ( reverse ) racism and stremeism of a great many faculty members and the power which they yield . The institution may almost literally have to be destroyed in its current incarnation to save it. 64 years after my university graduation I now have another reason ( besides my highly satisfying life) to be glad that at the last minute after much deliberation I chose to attend my Alma mater rather than Harvard as my HS yearbook indicates. Their reputation is now in tatters. Very hard to put Humpty Dumpty back together again after a fall of this magnitude. Certainly if I were a high achieving student today I would think very hard about whether Harvard , or the other Ivies, were my best alternative for an excellent education.
Great post. Harvard and other elites will continue to flout the Supreme Court until (i) they suffer significant monetary consequences for doing so, or (ii), some people go to jail. The second isn't likely to happen, so that leaves (i). And it's interesting where the mainstream media stands in this. They give us non-stop inquiry into the Trump administration's alleged failure to obey Supreme Court edicts, but mum's the word when the elite colleges give the Court their middle fingers. Jim Dueholm
Thank you for this superb analysis. The “full court press” must be relentless and sustained for at least the next seven years.
