DeSantis is an establishment shill. Our elections are rigged so he might get elected, if the establishment can take Trump out. But that won't benefit America. The establishment hates Trump because he puts America first. The effete elites always attack him personally but they'll never get their hands dirty defending America.

Of the four points made to justify DeSantis coming out against reparations, points 2 through 4 could apply to many things. At the risk of being misunderstood and raising hackles in the process, recall that Trump rode the illegal alien horse all the way to the White House. The issue he highlighted has been there since the passage of the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965, which was summarily ignored by the politicians that passed it and those that followed, whose lack of enforcement was then cynically used to justify the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 whose enforcement was and has been ignored by the very class that called for it in the first place. Controlling borders and more restrictive policies, to say nothing about the popularity of actual enforcement of existing law, have always been popular with the voters, and yet...it took DJT to ram it down the throats of the professional political class: one among many things for which he will never be forgiven. If opposition to reparations is so popular with voters (and it is) and opposition to it so obviously advantageous (as it should be), why does any professional politician need to be told or encouraged to use this issue? Answers that I can think of do not flatter our professional pols.

There is no legacy of slavery.

First and foremost, there is a 72 percent non marital birthrate that is the seminal reason for poverty and pathology.
