“Poverty causes crime” is indeed only peripherally true. It’s mostly attitude, upbringing and subculture. How do we know? Because the vast bulk of poor folks from every demographic don’t commit any crimes at all.

Dirt-poor Asians without English straight off the boat, as one example, demonstrate just how far healthy educational, vocational and family ethics take one, along with a healthy respect for authority, institutions and traditions.

Compare that with certain young black men, co-opted by irresponsible or opportunistic adults in news, entertainment and social media, in education, government and their communities, to believe they are born as victims of America.

The responsibility for the current scourge of murder, car jacking, and mayhem in the inner cities is the criminal reform movement brought on by the Soros-sponsored progressive prosecutors.

They sold the public a bill of goods- that the public order could be maintained with :

less police,

less prosecution,

no cash bail and

parsimonious use of imprisonment.

The reform charlatans have accepted no responsibility for their failed policies- it is up to the citizens to hold them accountable.
